Publishers don't all accept unsolicited submissions, but here is a list of five traditional romance publishers who are currently accepting submissions. Each of them has slightly different requirements, so make sure you tailor each submission for the best chance of getting noticed.
1. Harlequin
Harlequin looks for books in a variety of subgenres, with word count requirements ranging from 50,000 to 75,000 words depending on the subgenre. Note that they only accept submissions through Submittable.
2. TCK Publishing
TCK also accepts a range of subgenres, and have a minimum length of 40,000 words. Submissions are made through a google form and they do not use query letters.
3. Boroughs Publishing Group
Boroughs accepts a range of subgenres, but they require authors to have a social media presence with a sizable following. They are looking for manuscripts between 40,000 and 100,000 words.
4. Decadent Publishing
Decadent doesn't accept simultaneous submissions (manuscripts that have been submitted elsewhere). If you've submitted to another publisher, wait until you hear from them before submitting to Decadent. They also ask for authors to include a marketing strategy in the submission form.
