Editorial

I have formal training and experience in developmental and copy editing, as well as proofreading. I have worked on books from various genres, some of which are not yet published. Developmental Editing

Here is an example of a full editorial letter for a developmental edit, though it should be noted this edit was done on an already published novel as an exercise rather than for the author during the revision process. The editorial letter is the main focus of my developmental editing process, and so they are often longer as they break down every aspect of a work. Copy Editing

While copy edits still receive an editorial letter, they also involve creating a style sheet, with more comments and edits in the text. Here is a sample of what a stylesheet would involve. Below is an example of what in-text comments and changes would look like.
